How to make apple pie taquitos
The base of this recipe is the easy apple pie filling. Within ten minutes it is done. Start this recipe by brushing the taquitos with oil or melted vegan butter is also an option.
If you are vegan just use vegan butter or vegetable oil before sprinkling the sugar and cinnamon.
Make the apple pie filling and let it cool for a couple of minutes before using it in this recipe.
Take the tortilla and add a couple of tablespoons of apple pie filling to the side of the tortilla.
This will ensure the filling is in the middle of the taquito. Roll the taquito real tight and put it in an oven dish.
Preheat the oven to 425℉/200℃ and bake them in a hot oven so the sugar can melt. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve while hot with some agave syrup or caramel sauce. There is nothing better than the crunch of the tortilla, followed by the softness of the apple pie filling.

- 4 small tortillas
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 tsp of cacao
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil or vegetable butter
- 6-8 tbsp of apple pie filling
- Pre heat the oven at 425℉
- Take 1½ tbsp of apple filling on top of a tortilla and roll tightly
- Put in an oven dish. Repeat 3 more times
- Brush the tortilla with vegetable oil or butter. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and cacao
- Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until nice and crispy
- Decorate with some syrup
