Put all of the ingredients into a large bowl and make sure you stir them for at least a minute. The main reason you stir this long is to distribute all ingredients evenly.

- ¼ cup dark brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons homemade chili powder
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 ½ teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- ½ tablespoon salt
- ½ teaspoons cracked black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Pack the brown sugar in the measure cup and put in a bowl
- Measure the remaining ingredients
- Stir through for at least a minute to evenly distribute the ingredients
