To make this fish sauce you need several ingredients. Most likely you have most of it in your kitchen pantry. Have the following ingredients ready when you start:
- Sour cream – the base ingredient
- Mayonnaise – another base ingredient for this sauce
- Lime juice – adds freshness to the sauce that works well with fish
- Seasoning – you can use taco seasoning to season the sauce
- Garlic powder – adds a savory flavor to the sauce
- Sriracha sauce – gives a kick to the sauce
- Dill – fish and dill go together perfectly
- Cumin – has a slightly sweet, warming flavor with a nutty element
- Smoked paprika powder – adds color and flavor to the sauce
- Onion powder – adds a subtle sweetness to the sauce

How To Make Fish Taco Sauce
- This is such an easy dressing to make. Take a bowl and first add the sour cream. Then add the mayonnaise into the mixing bowl. Stir the two together until smooth and combined.
- Take a small bowl and add the taco seasoning, garlic powder, dill, cumin, smoked paprika powder, and onion powder. You can also use this fish seasoning for tacos instead of taco seasoning.
- Stir through with a teaspoon until all the ingredients are combined.
- Add this seasoning to the mayonnaise mixture. Now combine all the seasoning and mayonnaise sour cream mixture for about 1 minute.
- Finally, add the lime juice. Start with half of the lime juice and taste. Add more to taste.
- Your sauce is ready to serve.

Fish Taco Sauce
This spicy fish taco sauce is amazing. Makes any taco recipe taste better. Drizzle this sauce on your baked fish and it tastes even better!
Ingredients
- ½ cup sour cream
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lime juice from 1 medium lime
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce or to taste
- ½ teaspoon dill
- ¼ teaspoon cumin
