How to make albondigas

To make this albondigas recipe start with the meatball mixture. Combine the meat, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, the spices in a bowl. 

Knead the meat with your hands until all the ingredients are combined. Put the mixture in the fridge for 30 minutes to let the flavors in the meat combine.

In the meanwhile make the sauce. Chop the tomato, onion, and garlic. Take a skillet and preheat to medium-hot before you put in the olive oil.

Saute the onion first before adding the garlic and lastly the tomatoes. Turn down the skillet and let the sauce simmer for 25 minutes. 

Then roll 13 to 14 meatballs the size of a walnut. Take another skillet and heat to medium. Pour olive oil in your skillet and when it is hot add the meatballs.

Turn regularly and brown in about 5 minutes on all sides.

When the Spanish meatballs are brown add the tomato sauce and let it warm through for another 5 minutes.

Ready to serve.
