Put the pan on a low to a medium simmer but do not let the milk get to the boil. Stir the milk occasionally with a spoon as skin can appear on the milk.
Remove when it does with a sieve. Reduce the milk to half the original amount of milk this will take about 20 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and strain the milk to remove any solid bits and skin from the milk.
Let the milk cool to room temperature and put it in an airtight container or glass bottle. Your milk is ready to use.
