How to make your vegetables taste better

To make your vegetables taste even better you can always add garlic and onion. These will instantly lift the flavor of in this case green beans.

You can cook these separate so they are soft and translucent and sprinkle it on top of the beans when they get out of the oven.

Add some seasoning to your beans like ranch seasoning or adobo seasoning which goes really well with vegetables.

If you are a meat lover you can also add some crispy bacon because green beans and bacon go really well together.

How to make oven roasted parmesan garlic green beans

The oven is the hero in this recipe. No boiling of any kind is needed. This will preserve all the vitamins that are in your green beans and keep the flavor.

Start with cutting the ends of the beans. I take five or six beans at a time and cut the ends. Then wash the bean with cold water and let it drain in a colander.

Take a big bowl and add the olive oil, minced garlic, and finely grated parmesan cheese. Then add the beans and coat with the olive oil mixture.

Heat the oven at 450℉/220℃ and line a baking tray with baking paper. Now line the green beans on the baking tray. Take the black pepper and sprinkle it on the beans.

Put the tray in the oven and let it bake for 20 minutes. Turn the beans halfway through the baking time. Taste and leave in 5 minutes longer if needed.

The beans are usually done in 20 minutes but somethings the beans are a little thicker and need that extra couple of minutes.

Take out of the oven and serve your green beans immediately.
