- Basmati rice
- Bell pepper
- Black olives
- Green olives
- Roma tomatoes
- Salt and pepper
How to make rice salad with tuna
To make this recipe first wash the rice with warm water in a strainer. When the water is clear the rice is clean and can be cooked in a rice steamer.
This will take about 10-15 minutes. When the rice is done take the lid of the steamer and let the warm air evaporate and the rice cool.
With a fork take the rice apart it will help the rice cool faster. Finely chop the:
- Red pepper
- Roma tomatoes
Take these ingredients, put them in a bowl and stir. Finely slice the scallions and add to the bowl as well. Now drain the tuna from the can.
Put the tuna to the bowl and pull the tuna apart. Stir the tuna through the bowl. Finally, add the rice and stir it through thoroughly.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Decorate with some finely chopped fresh parsley.
