These sweet tortilla peanut butter rollups are made with one of my favorite tortilla wraps the chia wraps from Body and Fit shop. They are great in the kids lunchbox tortilla wraps, the vegan lunch recipe option or the vegan lentil stew burrito. I love them because they work really well with sweet and savory recipes.

In this recipe I’m using an old favorite that is always handy to have in the fridge. Easy apple pie filling is very versatile and can be used in so many recipes like apple pie taquitos, apple pie tortilla dessert cups or apple pie beignets.

How to make sweet tortilla peanut butter rollups

To make sweet tortilla peanut butter rollups you need the following ingredients:

  • Chia tortilla
  • Homemade peanut butter
  • Apple pie filling
  • Raisins
  • Currants
  • Pecan nuts
  • Muesli

I like to use homemade peanut butter in any of the recipes I make so no exception with this sweet tortilla peanut butter rollups. It is super easy to make and it tastes so much better than any store bought peanut butter. I used to peel peanuts but now buy roasted unsalted peanuts to make peanut butter.

First I spread the peanut butter on the chia tortilla wrap, then add the homemade apple pie filling. Sprinkle the raisins, currants and finally the muesli on the apple pie filling. Roll up tight and cut into sushi size length.

Even though it is only one tortilla wrap do no be fooled by this recipe, this sweet tortilla peanut butter rollups will give you a very full breakfast or lunch.

What to serve with sweet tortilla peanut butter rollups

These rollups are great on their own but are great to eat with a fruit salad or a fruit smoothie. However a nice glas of cold milk, a cup tea or coffee is a great combination with these sweet tortilla peanut butter rollups.

Ingredients

  • 1 chia tortilla
  • 2 tbsp of peanut butter
  • ½ cup of apple pie filling
  • 1 tbsp of raisins
  • 1 tbsp of currants
  • 8-10 finely chopped pecan nuts
  • 2 tbsp muesli

Instructions

Spread the peanut butter on the tortilla and put the apple pie filling on top

Then sprinkle the pecan nuts, raisins and currents on the tortilla as well as the muesli

Roll up tight and cut about 8-10 sushi size pieces from the tortilla. Ready to eat
