A week ago I showed you how easy it you can make Turkish pide bread. This tasty bread can be eaten with a lot of great toppings but also makes a great pizza. I usually cut the bread in wedges before hand and start layering this pizza.
Today the following ingredients are on this pizza:
- tomato sauce
- red onion
- bell peppers
You options with pizza are endless really. I’m using these ingredients but you can choose what you like.
What do you need to do? First cut the pide bread in 8 wedges and cut all the wedges in half. One whole bread yields 8 wedges so 16 single wedges. Start with the tomato sauce and cover every wedge with some sauce. Then apply green pesto on every wedge. Sprinkle sliced red onions and bell peppers on the bread. Add some prosciutto and cover with shredded cheese.
Preheat the oven to 450℉/225℃ and bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Finish with some leaves of rucola and serve immediately.
